The new parent's ultimate sleep training guides

Sleep is natural, right? Surely it’s something we all know how to do, like breathing or blinking. But in reality, sleeping is actually a skill babies need to learn.

While some experts say you can start sleep training as early as six weeks, others recommend waiting until your baby is four to six months old. After this age your baby will have gone through the dreaded four-month sleep regression. This is a big shift in baby sleep – they stop sleeping like infants and start sleeping like adults. At that age, your baby will also have a larger stomach and should be able to last 4-6 hours between feeds overnight. Until you’re ready to begin sleep-training your baby, there is plenty you can do to set the ground work and encourage healthy sleep habits now.
